Credit Recovery & Grade Replacement
If you have previously taken a course, and either did not pass this course, earned an incomplete grade or earned a lower grade than desired, you may recover credits through credit recovery or grade replacement. Your school counselor will work with you and your student to develop a specific credit recovery plan. Please reach out to them with any questions.
If you have never before taken a course (other than in some instances in Physical Education), then you have a couple of options. For more information, including descriptions of the available courses, please see the HS Course Catalog.
Rising 9th for Virtual First-Time Physical Education
Rising 9th grade students (your current 8th grade child) may choose to take high school Physical Education (virtual only) this summer for first time credit. Due to high interest, interested students were entered in a lottery for enrollment in this PE course. All students who indicated interest received an email in late May notifying you that your child is enrolled in the course or that the course is full and your child has been placed on a waitlist. First Time PE is Monday - Thursday from 8a-12:15p. More information is available on the Course Catalog, linked above.
